Have you ever seen a beer ad in a magazine that contains three or more women swooning over a guy because of his looks, his car, his beer, whatever... do you realize what this is saying?
Have you ever seen a flyer that catching your attention because of some near-naked woman plastered on the front? What does this tell you?
Have you ever seen a sorority girl walking around in a shirt that has some
clever slogan that lets you know how awesome she is in bed, and all of her
sorority sisters as well,.... saying nothing about the content of their
characters or their ability to demonstrate leadership or service... what does
this say to you?
This culture SAYS
that women are easily impressed by material things liek a car or a beer, and are willing to look past the fact that a guy can be a jerk with no job, no future, and be abusive to her... well that's okay.. as long as he has that ice-cold beer... as long as he has that stylin hollywood hair... he's OK. This says that women are stupid and naive.
This culture SAYS
that women are perfectly useful tools for using to grab people's attention. They are to be seen as objects which we manipulate to get what we want from people
This culture SAYS
that women are around so they can be sexy. We should view them as sex
objects, and not anything else.
Well ya know what I say to that?
NO!
I say that all of these things cause people to slowly and gradually think of a woman as less than a person... more like an object. A person in our society will be flooded with messages that tell him to stop thinking of women as people... start thinking of them as objects. This causes us to be indifferent when somebody assaults a woman or sexually abuses her. It's now just become part of the way of life.
It has to change. The more a guy will think
of a women as an object, the more he is likely to treat her as an object, and
not be apprehensive about disrepecting her rights legally and emotionally.
He won't care if she is assaulted or raped. After all, it's just a girl...
what does it matter?
GRRR!!!
Help the fight against this ugly crime, and the ugly culture that
says we should not care!

You're wrong!
You have your own reputation at stake. Do not be disrespected and considered dangerous by people you don't even know just because you're a guy. Show that you are NOT a rapist. Show that you will NOT let your fellow peers succumb to our poisonous media and fashionably apathetic college community.
Show it because 1 in 4 women are sexually assaulted or raped in this country.
Who would you choose?

2: your sister
3: your girlfriend
4: your daughter
None? That's what I thought.
Show rapists that you will NOT stand idly by while they ruin the lives of our loved ones.
